Today we have lived a very special day with our Catalan students.
We have shared cinema, cooking and conversation: we have enjoyed two short films, “The Prince” and “Memories of my mother”, which have invited us to look, listen and reflect together.
And, as it could not be otherwise, we have also cooked! We have prepared two cakes: the traditional glass cake and a delicious lemon and yogurt cake. Then we shared them around the table, ... learning a language is also sharing flavors, words and moments.
The day ended with an open conversation in which everyone was able to share their feedback on the classes, their experience and how they feel inside the Casal. We are very excited to know that they value the dynamics of the Casal, the face-to-face classes and, above all, this meeting and community space that we are building together.
The Casal goes beyond language: it is to meet, talk, cook, laugh, share and feel part of a community.
Today, a little more Catalan. And much more shared life. Many thanks to everyone!!!.
Today, we have all stopped the table!
A group of boys and girls has offered to prepare the space, put the tables and leave everything ready. Some have prepared the dishes, others have prepared the drinks... and, together, they have turned the cinema space into a place to share.
This is how community is built.
